Lawrence Phillips, American football player (born 1975)

Lawrence Lamond Phillips was an American professional football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons. A highly touted collegiate prospect, Phillips' professional career was cut short by legal troubles that continued up until his death.
