Elis Regina, Brazilian soprano (born 1945)

Elis Regina Carvalho Costa, known professionally as Elis Regina, was a Brazilian singer of Bossa nova, MPB and jazz music. She is also the mother of the singers Maria Rita and Pedro Mariano.
