Bruce Shand, British Army officer, and father of Queen Camilla (died 2006)

Bruce Middleton Hope Shand, was an officer in the British Army who served in France as part of the British Expeditionary Force during the Second World War. He was the father of Queen Camilla.

Camilla is Queen of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms as the wife of King Charles III.
