Noli de Castro, Filipino journalist and politician, 14th Vice President of the Philippines

Manuel "Noli" Leuterio de Castro Jr. is a Filipino broadcaster, journalist, and politician who served as the 12th Vice President of the Philippines from 2004 until 2010 under President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. He was elected to the Senate of the Philippines in 2001 after receiving the most votes of any senator in the 2001 election.

Vice President of the Philippines is title of the second-highest official in the executive branch of the Philippine government and is the first in the presidential line of succession. The vice president is directly elected by the citizens of the Philippines and is one of only two nationally elected executive officials, the other being the president.
