Gordon Murray, British automobile designer

Ian Gordon Murray is a South African and British former racing car designer, renowned firstly as lead designer for both the Brabham and McLaren Formula 1 racing teams, during 1969–1986 and 1987–1991 respectively, then as designer of high-end, high-performance sports cars and a variety of other innovative automotive projects.
