Katsu Kaishū, Japanese statesman (died 1899)

Count Katsu Yasuyoshi , born Katsu Yoshikuni , best known by his nickname Katsu Kaishū , was a Japanese statesman, naval engineer and military commander during the late Tokugawa shogunate and early Meiji period.
