Goh Keng Swee, Singaporean soldier and politician, 2nd Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore (died 2010)

Goh Keng Swee was a Singaporean statesman and economist who served as the second Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore between 1973 and 1985. Goh is widely recognised as one of the founding fathers of Singapore.

The deputy prime minister of Singapore is the deputy head of government of the Republic of Singapore, and are a key political ally of the prime minister. The incumbent deputy prime minister is Gan Kim Yong, who took office on 15 May 2024.
