Sean Spicer, American political aide, 30th White House Press Secretary

Sean Michael Spicer is an American former political aide who served as the 30th White House Press Secretary and as White House Communications Director under President Donald Trump in 2017. Spicer was communications director of the Republican National Committee from 2011 to 2017, and its chief strategist from 2015 to 2017. Since 2023, Spicer has served as a political contributor for cable network NewsNation. Spicer is also the co-host of the daily podcast The Morning Meeting with Mark Halperin and Dan Turrentine on the 2WAY Network.

The White House press secretary is a senior White House official whose primary responsibility is to act as spokesperson for the executive branch of the United States federal government, especially with regard to the president, senior aides and executives, as well as government policies.
